Analisis Pembelajaran Guru dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Motivasi belajar siswa masih menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SMP karena masih terdapat siswa yang kurang aktif dan kurang terlibat selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan berbagai upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan penelitian terdiri atas satu guru Bahasa Indonesia di salah satu SMP negeri di Kabupaten Karawang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik melalui tahapan reduksi data, pengelompokan tema, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan berbagai strategi, seperti diskusi kelompok, Project Based Learning (PBL), permainan edukatif, icebreaking, pembelajaran kontekstual, pemberian reward dan punishment, serta media pembelajaran yang menarik. Strategi tersebut meningkatkan keaktifan, kepercayaan diri, konsentrasi, antusiasme, dan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Temuan ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang lebih inovatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
