Inovasi Media SIKABU: Pengembangan Video Animasi Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menyimak Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Keterampilan menyimak siswa sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah akibat minimnya media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan, memvalidasi, menganalisis kepraktisan, dan menguji efektivitas media video animasi SIKABU berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi video animasi berbasis cerita fabel dengan tahapan PBL secara terpadu untuk pembelajaran menyimak teks deskriptif di sekolah dasar, yang belum banyak dikaji dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang melibatkan 37 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Sidetapa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indeks validitas materi sebesar 3,90 dan validitas media sebesar 3,86 (kategori tinggi). Kepraktisan guru mencapai 96,25%, uji perorangan 95%, dan kelompok kecil 94,4% (kategori sangat baik). Uji efektivitas menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test menghasilkan nilai t(36) = 47,223 dengan rata-rata pretest 50,1 meningkat menjadi 80,4 pada posttest (Sig. = 0,000; p < 0,05), menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan menyimak yang signifikan. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa integrasi video animasi berbasis PBL dapat menjadi model media pembelajaran digital yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar, sekaligus memberikan alternatif inovatif bagi guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif dan bermakna.
