Strategi Pelatihan Siswa Tunarungu Jenjang Sekolah Dasar pada Nomor Lari 100 meter: Sebuah Studi Pendahuluan

Penelitian ini bertolak dari permasalahan krusial berupa tingginya latensi waktu reaksi (reaction time delay) dan kebuntuan metodologis dalam mengeksekusi posisi start tanpa aba-aba suara pada siswa tunarungu. Riset ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi secara mendalam strategi pelatihan olahraga nomor lari 100 meter bagi peserta didik hambatan pendengaran jenjang sekolah dasar. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus tunggal, data dihimpun via wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif pasif, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap guru olahraga, siswa tunarungu, serta guru kelas. Temuan utama memformulasikan tiga poin inti: (1) optimalisasi alur substitusi sensorik verbal ke visual melalui isyarat terstruktur, ekspresi wajah makro, dan peragaan gerakan langsung, (2) efektivitas penggunaan media lokal berupa kibasan bendera merah kontras dan sentuhan taktil pada pundak untuk memotong keterlambatan reaksi start, serta (3) terciptanya dampak bawaan (nurturant effect) positif berupa penguatan aspek perkembangan psikososial harian anak, yang ditandai oleh peningkatan rasa percaya diri, kemandirian perilaku, dan stabilitas regulasi emosi siswa di sekolah. Kesimpulannya, pengondisian visual-taktil berbasis kearifan instruksional lokal ini terbukti efektif mengatasi hambatan fisik sekaligus mental atlet disabilitas usia dini.
