Orang tua memiliki peran penting pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran di rumah.peranan orang tua selama pembelajaran di rumah itu sangat banyak karena orang tua yang mendampingi anak selama belajar di rumah. Penelitian ini termasuk dengan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji peran orang tua siswa SD Negeri 1 Wonodoyo selama pembelajaran di rumah, kendala yang dihadapi orang tua dan solusi yang dilakukan oleh orang tua. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif yaitu pengumpulan data, mereduksi data, display data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu peran orang tua selam pembelajaran di rumah dengan mendampingi anak belajar, memberikan motivasi kepada anak, memberikan fasilitas kepada anak dan membantu anak mengerjakan tugas. Kendala yang dihadapi orang tua yaitu kesulitan memahami materi, kurangnya waktu, tidak memiliki handphone dan kurangnya pengetahuan teknologi orang tua. Solusinya yaitu orang tua bertanya kepada guru, memberi penjelasan kepada anak, membelikan paket data internet, mencarikan sinyal dan mencukupi kebutuhan anak.
