Pengembangan Instrumen 4TSDT (Four Tier – Science Diagnostic Test) untuk Mengidentifikasi Level Konsepsi Calon Guru Sekolah Dasar

Konsepsi sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam menciptakan pembelajaran sains yang efektif di semua jenjang pendidikan. Setiap guru sains harus memiliki penguasaan konsep sains yang benar-benar mutlak, sesuai dengan konsepsi para ilmuwan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, instrument tes diperlukan untuk mendiagnosis level konsepsi mahasiswa pada topic sains. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan tes diagnostic berformat empat tingkat, Four Tier – Science Diagnostic Test (4TSDT). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan 4D yaitu Defining, Designing, Developing dan Disseminating. Pada tahap defining dilakukan analisis miskonsepsi dan tes diagnostic pada topic sains. Selanjutnya, pada tahap designing diperoleh kisi-kisi instrumen hingga instrumen tes diagnostic berformat two tier. Instrumen tersebut dikembangkan menjadi tes diagnostic berformat empat tingkat pada tahap developing, sehingga menghasilkan instrumen 4TSDT. Tahapan akhir dari penelitian ini yaitu melakukan uji validasi dan uji coba 4TSDT kepada 40 mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar di salah satu universitas wilayah Cirebon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrument 4SDT dapat mendiagnosis level konsepsi dan mengungkap miskonsepsi mahasiswa pada topik sains
