Abstract

Penelitiannini dilatarbelakangii oleh hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajarann IPS di kelas V SD Negeri 16 Tanjung Aur Kota Padang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan hasill belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakann model Cooperative learning tipe Picture and Picture. Subjek  penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 16 Tanjung  Aur Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian  ini menggambarkan pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Kesimpulannya, model Cooperative learning tipe Picture and Picture dapat meningkatkannhasil belajar siswa diikelas V SD Negeri 16 Tanjung Aur Kota Padang dalam pembelajaran IPS
