Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning terhadap Kemampuan Numerasi Matematika Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Kemampuan numerasi matematika merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam berbagai bidang ilmu pengetahuan. Pra penelitian di SDN Jaddih 4 menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih belum memiliki kemampuan numerasi yang baik. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti bermaksud untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran problem-based learning terhadap kemampaun numerasi matematika siswa kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen jenis pre-experimental design menggunakan one group pre-test post-test. Pemilihan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dengan melibatkan total 28 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Adapun eknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dengan melakukan uji paired sample. Uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dengan nilai signifikansi 0.177 > 0.05, sehingga data berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai paired sample t-test sebesar 12.273 > 1.703 (ttest > ttable) atau sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem-based learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan numerasi matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Jaddih 4 Bangkalan. Oleh sebab itu, model pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam mengatasi rendahnya kemampuan numerasi matematika siswa.
