Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Gambar Seri terhadap Peningkatan Literasi Peserta Didik

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya literasi membaca dan menulis di kalangan siswa SDN Ogosipat. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti menggunakan media pembelajaran gambar seri berupa piring narasi (PISI) yang dapat diakses melalui link WordWall. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi penggunaan media pembelajaran gambar seri dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa, (2) mendeskripsikan penggunaan media tersebut, dan (3) mengevaluasi efektivitas media ini dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini merujuk pada empat penelitian sebelumnya yaitu oleh (1) Ira Rofida, (2) Ni Wayan Nik Sri Artin, (3) Sularti, dan (4) Bachtiar S. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen, yang melibatkan satu kelompok dengan pre-test dan post-test. Teknik analisis data mencakup observasi, pelaksanaan pre-test, pemberian perlakuan, pelaksanaan post-test, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 11 siswa sebagai populasi, Menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel penelitian ini diambil dari siswa kelas III SDN Ogosipat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test dalam kemampuan membaca siswa, dengan nilai pre-test lebih rendah (0,081) dibandingkan dengan nilai post-test (0,250). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran gambar seri efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa kelas III SDN Ogosipat. Media pembelajaran gambar seri dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan indikator yang telah ditetapkan, dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran gambar seri telah memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan untuk meningkatkan literasi siswa kelas III SDN Ogosipat
