Pembelajaran statistika di Sekolah Dasar cenderung tersaji secara konvensional, akibatnya siswa belum memahami konsep pengumpulan dan penyajian data dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran statistik berbasis pendekatan  Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan tipe Plomp terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan atau prototype (pembuatan prototipe), dan tahap evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 18 dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 V Koto Timur Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Data penelitian didapat melalui tes, observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara naratif berasal penelitian ini sudah dihasilkan LKPD dan RPP yang valid sinkron menggunakan prinsip serta karakteristik pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Perangkat pembelajaran dengan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), simpel dari segi pelaksanaan, kemudahan, efesien waktu dan efektif sesuai dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.                                                                                                                                                   Â
