Kesiapan Proses Pembelajaran Guru dan Peserta Didik Sekolah Dasar Masa Pandemi Covid-19: Dampak Penggunaan Whatsapp sebagai Media Pembelajaran

Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM )diberlakukan untuk menanggulani penyebaran virus Covid-19 dengan membatasi kegiatan sosial. Sehingga, hal tesebut merubah metode Pembelajaran Tatap Muka menjadi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh atau secara daring. Pembelajaran secara daring dinilai cukup efisien karena dapat gunakan tanpa ada batasan ruang dan waktu, namun kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi kurang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak buruk pembelajaran secara daring menggunakan fitur Grup WhatsApp di masa pandemi yang dialami oleh guru dan siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini melibatkan seorang Wali kelas dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Mejing 2 sebagai objek penelitian. Sedangkan, data penelitian ini bersumber dari wawancara dan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat kesulitan belajar melaui WhatsApp yang mengakibatkan dampak buruk terhadap kesiapan belajar pada guru meliputi; keterbatasan pada metode belajar yang repetitif, harus menyiapkan perangkat smartphone-nya, ketergantungan pada jaringan dan evaluasi belajar yang tidak menyeluruh. Pembelajaran tidak berjalan efektif ini mengakibatkan peserta didik tidak bisa memahami instruksi dengan jelas, sehingga materi diberukan sukar dipahami dengan baik, serta tidak adanya interkasi langsung seperti diskusi dan sebagian lainnya mengalami kesulitan jaringan yang tidak stabil.
